Centerprise move in on the HE market with Acer NDNA partnership
Centerprise have continued their push into the education market, securing a spot on the £440m valued National Desktop and Notebook Agreement (NDNA) framework by teaming up with Acer on Lot 2.
Centerprise will be perfectly complementing Acer’s range of high performance devices with an extensive range of value-added services. Fulfilment, deployment and support will come from Centerprise’s dedicated operations facilities in Caerphilly and Basingstoke.
Building on a strong 30-year foundation of technology partnerships within the education and public sectors, Centerprise are looking to make an impact in the market by actively taking the Acer brand into UK higher education institutions and the other affiliated members of the six regional HE Consortia: APUC, LUPC, SUPC, HEPCW, NEUPC and NWUPC.
Commenting on the partnership, Centerprise’s Government Director Jon Elliott says: “There’s no doubt in our minds that this is a fantastic opportunity. The NDNA is far and away the most popular end user device framework in the HE space. Having a spot means we now have a fantastic opportunity to grow our presence in that market to exciting new levels.”
“We’re proud to advocate the Acer brand, and to bring our extensive value-added services and solutions to their fantastic range of reliable and high performing hardware. We’re excited to see where this partnership can take us.”
Craig Booth, UK Country Manager for Acer, says: “NDNA is an incredibly important framework for Acer, and we are excited to begin our partnership with a company of Centerprise’s pedigree.
“Centerprise has a long standing history of partnering with manufacturers to supply into public sector frameworks, and will be a great addition to our group of reseller partners for the NDNA Framework”.
Centerprise’s appointment bolsters their framework presence in the UK higher education sector - adding to a long-held position on the Servers, Storage & Solutions National Agreement (SSSNA) as an approved reseller on Lots 1, 3a and 3b.
The current NDNA runs from September 2017 to August 2020 with an option to extend for a further year. To view the NDNA pricelist and buyer’s guide - Register on the Centerprise NDNA portal
